West Michigan’s April Snow Showers

West Michigan’s April Snow Showers

Waking up to 2-3 inches of snow on the ground yesterday was an

April surprise, even for West Michigan, which is known for its

changing weather patterns.  I couldn’t resist taking photos of our

snow coated flowers.

Even though it snowed all morning, by 3 pm, the snow was gone and we

were back to green lawns and spring.  The robins were pleased.

Clements Mill Neighborhood Video Tour Ada Michigan

Clements Mill Neighborhood Video Tour  Ada Michigan

Clements Mill is a subdivision located in Forest Hills School District,

Ada Michigan.  Ada is a suburb on the east side of Grand Rapids.

We took a quick drive through part of the neighborhood, so you

could get a feel for the area.  There are lots of children in this

neighborhood.  We drove through on a windy, chill day during

Spring Break, otherwise, you would see lots of kids around.

Living in Ada Michigan, we cross the Grand River on the M-21 Bridge

quite often, four times today.  The new temporary bridge is up and the

old bridge is being demolished.

Heavy construction vehicles, broken concrete, and lots of high water

make for a muddy work site.  This submerged dock is at the DNR fishing

site on the Grand River just north of the bridge, adjacent to the Amway

parking lot.
