Kent County C.E.R.T. Team at Wyoming Michigan 2011 Classic Car Show
In case you have never heard of this organization, The Kent County
Community Emergency Response Team is a group of local volunteers who
are dedicated to educating, informing and assisting the public in responding
to emergency disasters in their local community. We became members because
we think it is important to support our local community and we feel disaster
preparedness is vital to a community’s welfare.
Did You Know? If a disaster strikes the metro Grand Rapids area, there are
only 10,000 police, firemen, and emergency responders to try to handle the
needs of over a million people? Needless to say, citizen volunteers will be
needed. If you feel that this might be of interest to you – contact:

people at the Wyoming Classic Car Show on July 24th, 2011 from 4-8 pm
at the Resurrection Life Church.
Our group of volunteers are hard at work setting up the Sno-Cone machines.
A great group of people turned out on this hot Sunday to work the booth.
